Lasheka Pulliam is passionate about dismantling the stigmas and negative connotations surrounding mental health. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University and her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health and Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Thomas University, where she was inducted into Chi Sigma Iota, the international honor society for counseling professionals.

Lasheka is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, author, and motivational speaker who uses her work to encourage and empower individuals to become the best versions of themselves. She has experience working with diverse populations across a variety of settings, including juvenile services, foster care, group homes, vocational rehabilitation, inpatient care, and family systems.

Her therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that a positive mindset can produce positive outcomes. Lasheka firmly believes that “we can change our lives by changing our thinking.”
