Lasheka Pulliam is devoted to dismantling the negative connotations and stigmas associated with mental health. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University and her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health and Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Thomas University where she was inducted into the honor society for counseling professionals, Chi Sigma Iota.  She is a licensed and Nationally Certified Counselor, author, and motivational speaker who uses her work to encourage and empower people to become their best versions. She has worked with various populations in diverse settings such as juveniles, children, and parents in the foster care system, group homes, vocational rehabilitation, and inpatient care. Her therapeutic approach is to demonstrate a positive mindset produces positive outcomes. Lasheka is a firm believer that “we can change our lives by changing our thinking."
